Kelley's Corner Improvement Initiative: The Corner that Connects Us
One of the key components of the Comprehensive Community Plan is the improvement of the Town of Acton's various villages and so-called centers. Improving Kelley's Corner is a long-term priority of the Board of Selectman and was deemed to be a high priority action item in the Plan resulting from Acton 2020's Phase II community input forums.
The Kelley's Corner Improvement Initiative is a long-term project that will involve various phases of planning and will offer opportunities for community input throughout the planning process. The key elements of improvement are community, character and connections.
Character: Design guidelines and zoning to create an attractive gateway including attracting desirable retail.
Community: Informal gathering places that connect us.
Connections: Improved mobility for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.
